Double Wedding Ring Made Easy

Here's my first block in this fun workshop at  The Quilt Pattern Magazine   How much fun it is to learn a new technique for a lovely old traditional pattern.


As you can see I have utilized a dark background and lighter rings for a completely non-traditional effect.   I have not decided how big (or small) I will make the project.  Decisions such as those will be made along the way :-)

This is actually part 2 of the 5 part workshop and I am definitely looking forward to the next step.  August 1 which is tomorrow.



Hmmm........Wonder what a miniature one would look like using this technique???????
